The main element in this house is the large yard. The living/dining space interacts with it through its glazed walls but is south-facing, so it doesn’t receive direct sunlight in the Southern Hemisphere.

The other parts of the house are more introspective. The ancillary spaces on the ground floor as well as the bedrooms and the private living room on the top floor are enclosed and have strategically positioned windows.

The private area is suspended and supported by 4 columns.

The double-height private living room on the top floor has many 50x50 cm windows that allow thermal comfort and sufficient daylight. The small square windows motif was repeated where convenient, like the office and the stairs, reinforcing the visual unity of the exterior walls that enclose, articulate and shape the space.
