This project involved an unusual design program: three houses in one.
One house is for a young couple and should have a comfortable master suite, bedrooms for their children and guests, and a spacious living room connected to the exterior.
The second house is for one of the young owners’ parents. It’s small but complete, including a master suite, a living room, a kitchen and a guest/nurse room.
The third house is for the housekeeper and its functions are equally well distributed.
Our design solution was to use the site’s upward slope and create a central stair that organizes the circulation through the houses, linking the three almost independent levels.
The main access is located between the housekeeper’s house and the pilotis/garage.
The second floor houses the living room in one side and, in the other, the parents’ house.
The couple’s private rooms are located on the top floor: the master suite, the library and the home theater.
